The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Martinsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Martinsson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
A combination from Hossain does no damage.
Hossain wants to clinch.
Hossain lands a high kick to the side of Martinsson's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Hossain dives into guard, looking to finish.

Hossain wanted to stand there but Martinsson had control of the position.

Hossain lands a nice looking kick to the body. Martinsson takes a step back to recover.

Hossain pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hossain takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Martinsson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hossain's face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martinsson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
