Singh has chosen Microphone as his entrance music. Balwinder Singh is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Singh misses with a series of wild punches.
Balwinder Singh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Singh. No joy for Powers on that attempt.
Singh lets loose with a powerful body kick. Powers will feel that in the morning.
Powers looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Singh is fending him off so far but Powers persists. Nope, Singh circles away and we're back to standing.

Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Singh napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Singh is being controlled here.
Singh is looking to regain half guard here but Powers keeps moving and retains side control.
You can see the frustration on Singh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Singh manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Singh wants to pass to mount but Powers is defending the position.

Powers is trying to control but can't.
Powers is refusing to be controlled, as Singh sits in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A nice combination there by Singh.
Powers is breathing heavily.

Singh moves into the clinch.
Singh scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Black Powers has been cut.
Singh is pushing Powers up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Singh connects with a nasty looking knee right to Powers's face.

Singh breaks from the clinch.
Singh bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Singh drops Powers with a naaaaasty hook - Powers is in real trouble here! Singh dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
