Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Colio Quan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alfred Shaheim Leigh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Quan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Leigh defending against the ground and pound.
Quan throws a strike aimed at the side of Leigh's head but Leigh avoids it well.
You can see the frustration on Leigh's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Quan trying to control the position but Leigh is working away.
Leigh sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Quan trying to mount his opponent but Leigh defends it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Leigh shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Leigh is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Leigh.

Leigh is stalling here. Quan is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Leigh seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Quan has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Quan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leigh on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Quan lands a few punches from side control.
Quan trying to control the action but Leigh is working from the bottom.

Quan winds up and cracks Leigh with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Leigh moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Quan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Quan with a flurry of punches that miss.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quan throws a strike but Leigh rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Leigh is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Quan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Quan has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Quan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Leigh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Quan has managed to get both his arms back between Leigh's legs - danger averted.
Quan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Leigh has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Quan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Leigh has tightened it up now! Quan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
