Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Tretiak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Paiva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paiva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Darude - Sandstorm . Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Paiva lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The fight stays on the outside here - Paiva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tretiak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Paiva looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
You can see the frustration on Paiva's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Paiva is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tretiak asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Tretiak has hold of Paiva's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Paiva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tretiak cranks the arm and Paiva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Paiva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
