Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Bent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Dread Zepellin - Stairway to Heaven. Bent has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Im shipping up to Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Roger Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roy Bent!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bent throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bent shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bent tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Gracie is looking to reverse the position.
Gracie manages to get back to half guard.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are battling for position here. Gracie manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bent trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Bent is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gracie's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Bent slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.

Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bent is aware though and is defending well.
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gracie is trying to control the position but Bent postures up.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bent keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bent with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Gracie slips a nice elbow through Bent's hands, connecting with Bent's forehead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gracie is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Gracie takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bent sees it coming and defends easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gracie lands strikes from half guard.
Gracie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bent slips a jab and a cross from Gracie.
Bent throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Gracie duly obliges.
Bent misses with an uppercut. Gracie saw that one coming.

Gracie throws a nice looking combination but Bent bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Gracie drops Bent with a nice combination! Gracie dives into Bent's guard, looking to finish!
Bent is still in real trouble! Can Gracie finish him?
Gracie postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Bent covers up, he's hurt! Gracie keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Gracie and the ref steps in to end the fight! Gracie can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
