The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Mayhew with that takedown attempt.
Mayhew shoots for a takedown but Maycock saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Maycock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mayhew doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mayhew manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Mayhew throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maycock's waist but Maycock gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mayhew off to one side.

and Maycock counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mayhew won't be happy with that.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
