Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Owen Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Samir Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cole comes to the cage accompanied by Till I Collapse. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Owen Cole!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samir Kahric!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahric connects with a body shot.
Kahric will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kahric is looking to clinch.
Cole wants to clinch but Kahric slips to the side

and Kahric counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Cole is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kahric tries to free his leg and advance position but Cole is retaining full guard.
Cole is pulling down on Kahric's head to control his posture.
Kahric trying to control but Cole is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kahric drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kahric jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Kahric trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Kahric thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Cole gets caught flat footed, as Kahric shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Cole pushes Kahric off and gets back to his feet.
Kahric changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cole tries to avoid it but Kahric manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cole to the ground. Cole escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Kahric fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cole gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Kahric counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cole's guard now.
Cole is breathing heavily.

Kahric is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cole is looking to sweep but instead, Kahric has passed into half guard.
Cole controlling the position for now.

Kahric is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Kahric wants to free his trapped foot but Cole is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kahric thows a huge punch but Cole dodges it nicely.

Cole is trying to stand up here but Kahric is controlling him well.

Cole tries to control the position but Kahric now has his back.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cole just trying to survive but Kahric is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Kahric has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Cole! Can he survive? No! He's out! Kahric gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
