Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dumitru Schiopu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Schiopu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Cypress Hill - K1 Super star (Dumitru Schiopu remix). Joey Diaz has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Schiopu, right into the meat.

Schiopu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Schiopu keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Diaz's efforts to push away.
Schiopu scores with a hook to the body.

Schiopu pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Diaz throws a lazy right hand but Schiopu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Schiopu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diaz on the side of the head.
Schiopu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diaz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Joey Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schiopu digs a good body shot into Diaz's ribs.
Diaz looks gassed!

Schiopu lands a big right hand that sends Diaz crashing to the mat! Schiopu stays standing though and waves Diaz back to his feet!

It looks like Joey Diaz has been cut.
A slow jab from Diaz misses its intended target.
Diaz misses with a looping left.
Schiopu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

and Schiopu counters with a nice right hand that sends Diaz toppling to the canvas! Diaz scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Schiopu finish him?!
Diaz is still on wobbly legs! Can Schiopu finish him?

Schiopu rushes Diaz and presses him up against the ropes.

Schiopu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Diaz seems to have recovered his senses.
Schiopu lands a body shot.
Schiopu tests Diaz's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Diaz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Schiopu finds it's way round the side to connect with Diaz's head.
Schiopu cracks Diaz on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Diaz falls backwards against the ropes. Schiopu follows up with more strikes that drop Diaz to his knees. Schiopu keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Diaz! This one is all over!
