Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Standan Strike (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melhim Abu Shahin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Abu Shahin has chosen Desert Rose as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strike circles away from the clinch attempt.

Strike moves into range and clinches up with Abu Shahin.
Strike pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Abu Shahin blocks an elbow strike from Strike.

Abu Shahin is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Strike can't fight it off and eventually Abu Shahin manages to take the fight to the floor. Strike looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Abu Shahin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Strike wants to stand up but Abu Shahin is controlling him.
Abu Shahin is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Strike is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Abu Shahin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Abu Shahin advances nicely into full mount.
Abu Shahin breaks from Strike's wrist control and lands an elbow.
BOOM! Abu Shahin connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Strike is rocked!
Abu Shahin looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Strike covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
