Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabbie Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Why Can't We Be Friends. Gabbie Jay is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gabbie Jay!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vandelay lands a left and a right that send Jay crashing to the mat, dazed. Vandelay thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Vandelay defending well as Jay loads up on a big left hand.
Vandelay drops Jay with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Jay looks back up at him and smiles so Vandelay waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Jay is rocked!
Vandelay is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Jay flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Jay is out cold! Vandelay holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Art Vandelay!
