Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Lecter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Flash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannibal Lecter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hannibal Lecter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Flash!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lecter leaves Flash with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Lecter - that will leave a mark!
Flash tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lecter paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Flash bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lecter prevents Flash from moving into mount.
Lecter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Lecter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flash on the ground.
Lecter is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Flash trying to control the action but Lecter is working from the bottom.

Flash tries for a kimura but Lecter is defending well.

Lecter can't do much from the bottom here.
Lecter parries the strikes from Flash easily there. Flash is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lecter to escape.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Flash shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Lecter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Flash remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Flash is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Lecter will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Flash is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lecter knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Flash jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Lecter is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Lecter and Flash has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Lecter manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Lecter seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Flash has recovered full guard.
Lecter wanted to stand there but Flash had control of the position.

Flash is looking to clinch but Lecter is avoiding it.
Flash shoots in for a double leg but Lecter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
