The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McGregor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mode swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McGregor looks for the body kick but Mode saw that one coming.
McGregor moves in looking to clinch but Mode pushes him off.

Crunch! McGregor slams his shin into Mode's torso.
Mode looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGregor is fending him off so far but Mode persists. Nope, McGregor circles away and we're back to standing.

McGregor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mode avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mode fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGregor throws a right hand that Mode ducks under and follows up with a left that Mode also avoids with ease.
McGregor circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mode drops to the canvas, hurt badly! McGregor follows Mode to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
