Hawkins has chosen Shipping up to Boston as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawkins shoots in and bounces Hustle off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hawkins missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hawkins should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Hustle looking for a guillotine here but Hawkins defends easily.
Hustle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hustle tries to get out of the position.
Hawkins is looking to work some ground and pound but Hustle has wrist control.
Hawkins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hustle swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hawkins won't allow Hustle to get back to his feet.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Hustle throws a head kick that misses.
Hawkins shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hustle pinned against the cage. Hustle gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hustle has closed the distance and engaged Hawkins in a clinch.
Hustle wants to stall.
Hawkins dodges an elbow strike from Hustle.

Hawkins turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hawkins manages to end up in side control.
Hustle sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Hawkins has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hawkins postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hustle looks a forlorn figure.

Hawkins has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hustle's face.
Oh Hustle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hustle is in a horrible position here. Hawkins smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
