Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Project Alpha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and the dude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). the dude told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, the dude!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dude shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alpha as he jumps to the side.
dude shoots in for a takedown but Alpha shows good takedown defense.
Alpha throws a series of punches but dude moves out of range.
Alpha throws a combination but it was largely blocked by dude.
dude uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Alpha.
Alpha stalks dude and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into dude's face. dude staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like the dude has been cut.
Alpha leaves dude with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Project Alpha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of the dude.
Alpha shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Alpha was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice elbow there by Alpha.
dude wants to control but Alpha is having none of it.
Alpha throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Alpha lands a heavy elbow.
Alpha throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

Alpha throwing strikes here but dude is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Alpha raining down shots from the mount!
dude is rocked!
Alpha postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt dude bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Alpha and the fight is over!
