Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erik Loka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Moore duly obliges.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Loka.
Crunch! Loka slams his shin into Moore's torso.

Moore tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Loka turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Loka creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Moore's defenses.

It looks like Thomas Moore has been cut.

Loka lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Moore takes an elbow to the temple.
Moore tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Loka just stands there and leans against the cage.
Loka is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Moore is defending well for now.
Moore has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Loka is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Moore jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Loka walks away with a smile on his face. Moore gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Loka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moore, pushing him back against the cage.
Moore tries to pull guard but Loka holds him up against the cage and eventually Moore drops back down to his feet.
Moore jumps guard but Loka stands there with Moore around his waist. Moore gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Loka throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Moore blocks it with crossed arms.
Loka throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Jeez, Thomas Moore's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
