Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pueblo Leaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sephiroth Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pueblo Leaf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sephiroth Cooper!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cooper shoots for a takedown but Leaf saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Leaf loads up on a big right hand but Cooper slips the punch.
Cooper slips a jab and a cross from Leaf.
Nice takedown defense from Leaf. No joy for Cooper on that attempt.
Cooper dodges the punch combination from Leaf.
Leaf tries to bum rush Cooper with a series of wild strikes but Cooper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
The fighters circle momentarily. Leaf darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Leaf throws a half hearted mid kick.
Cooper slips a straight right by Leaf.
Cooper fails with a takedown attempt.
Pueblo Leaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sephiroth Cooper.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leaf misses with the combination.
Leaf will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cooper will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Leaf as he avoids it easily.
Cooper slips a straight right by Leaf.
Leaf misses the shot to the body.
Cooper fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Leaf throws out a loose jab but Cooper uses good head movement to avoid it.
Leaf tries a head kick but it misses.
Cooper avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Cooper closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Leaf to the mat! Leaf manages to get full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Cooper thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Leaf wants to get back to his feet but Cooper passes into half guard.
Leaf is trying to stand back up but Cooper is controlling him
Cooper wants to control but Leaf is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leaf is trying to maintain the position but Cooper is very close to passing his half guard.
Cooper is keen to just control but Leaf is a slippery customer.
Cooper prevents Leaf from improving his position.

Cooper maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Leaf could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cooper has cracked it and Leaf is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cooper!
