Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hardy circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hardy cracks a nice hook into Nelson's ribs.
Hardy bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Hardy fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hardy misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hardy ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hardy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Crunch! Hardy slams his shin into Nelson's torso.
Nelson looks gassed!
Hardy moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hardy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Nelson misses with a low kick.
Hardy throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hardy throws a right and a left that Nelson avoids nicely.
Hardy scores with a kick to the body.

Hardy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Hardy changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nelson takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hardy throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A combination from Hardy does no damage.
Hardy throws a combination. Nelson tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Roy Nelson has been cut.
Nelson throws a leg kick
and Hardy counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Nelson! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Hardy!
