Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xande BD (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Macedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryan Macedo looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedo doesn't manage to clinch there - BD circles away.
Macedo looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

BD shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Macedo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
BD is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

BD decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

BD bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

BD stands up and beckons Macedo to his feet.
BD lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Macedo backs up against the cage.

It looks like Bryan Macedo has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

BD has knee on belly and moves into mount.
BD really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

BD's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Macedo tries to reverse the position but BD maintains control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
BD looking to control and managing it successfully.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Xande BD just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.

BD throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Macedo was covering up waiting for the punch and BD finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Macedo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with BD. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

BD keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Macedo's head.

BD has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
BD distracts Macedo with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
BD is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Macedo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
BD connects with a couple of short punches.
BD is working Macedo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
BD won't allow Macedo to get back to his feet.
BD works a leg free and moves into half guard.
BD moves into full mount! Macedo won't be happy about that!

BD is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Macedo can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Xande BD overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

BD is taking a breather. Macedo says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

BD is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Macedo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
