Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richter Alastrasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bradley kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Ride Of The Valkyries. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dan Bradley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richter Alastrasz!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alastrasz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Alastrasz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bradley was well out of range. Poor timing from Alastrasz.

Alastrasz takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Richter Alastrasz has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Alastrasz throws out a loose jab but Bradley uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bradley misses with a straight right.
Bradley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alastrasz looks to land a right hand but Bradley moved out of range.
Alastrasz throws a hook but Bradley blocks it.

Alastrasz takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

and Bradley counters with a nice right hand that sends Alastrasz toppling to the canvas! Alastrasz scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Bradley finish him?!

Alastrasz decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Alastrasz is nestled in close to Bradley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A looping hook to the body misses from Alastrasz. Bradley does a little dance to reset his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bradley is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Alastrasz pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradley is staying active underneath Alastrasz, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Bradley wants to improve his position but Alastrasz is controlling well.

Alastrasz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. Alastrasz eventually gives up the hold.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Alastrasz checks a leg kick.
Richter Alastrasz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Alastrasz loads up on a big right hand but Bradley slips the punch.

Alastrasz closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Alastrasz cracks Bradley with a big right hand but Bradley just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Bradley is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Alastrasz ducks right into an uppercut from Bradley.
Dan Bradley is winning the standup battle so far.
Bradley just misses with a punch to the body.
Alastrasz seems to have recovered his senses.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alastrasz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bradley pushes a forearm under Alastrasz's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Alastrasz is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
