Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ayatollah Khomeini (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Meyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meyer has chosen The Renegade by Styx as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Jacob Meyer will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khomeini keeps the fight on the outside.
Meyer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Meyer shoots in for a takedown but Khomeini shows good takedown defense.
Meyer gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Meyer keeping moving, preventing Khomeini from controlling successfully.
Khomeini stops Meyer from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Khomeini drops back looking for a leg! Meyer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Meyer manages to kick Khomeini off! Khomeini jumps back into Meyer's guard.
Khomeini has gone for a leg lock! Meyer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khomeini's guard.
Meyer must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Khomeini is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Meyer rolls with it to try and escape but Khomeini cranks on the arm and Meyer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
