Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendall Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Semenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Semenko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sure Fire Winners. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendall Alves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steven Semenko!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semenko takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Alves shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Semenko manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Semenko keeping moving, preventing Alves from controlling successfully.

Semenko working for a triangle but Alves defends it easily.
Semenko keeping full guard, as Alves tries to pass.

Alves drops back looking for a leg! Semenko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Semenko manages to kick Alves off! Alves jumps back into Semenko's guard.
Semenko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Semenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alves. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Alves will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Semenko is looking for a triangle but Alves pushes his legs off easily.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Semenko moves in looking to clinch but Alves pushes him off.
Semenko shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Alves connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Semenko tries to clinch up

and Alves counters with a nice double leg into side control. Semenko won't be happy with that.
Semenko wants to control but Alves postures up.
Alves trying to control the action but Semenko is working from the bottom.

Alves is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Semenko looks calm but he's in trouble here. Alves gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Semenko is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Alves lets go of the hold and Semenko can pop his arm back in it's socket.
