The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kingston leaves Corbett with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A left and a right from Kingston both land. Nice combination.

Corbett throws a nice outside leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kingston fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Corbett.

Corbett ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Corbett thuds his right hand into Kingston's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Kingston takes one to the chin there.
Corbett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

and Kingston takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

That has opened up Eddie Kingston's cut even more.
Corbett connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Kingston tumbling to the canvas! Corbett pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Kingston was done - good stoppage!
