PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Percy Destepolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katarushi Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Destepolo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Link. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Destepolo pinned against the cage. Destepolo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Li fails with the takedown.
Destepolo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Li avoids it really well and circles away.
No joy there for Li, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Destepolo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Li is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Li has escaped and now he's on top!
