Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corey Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anton Anton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Corey Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Anton Anton!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Steven Brown and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Anton is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Anton is trying desperately to improve position.
Anton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Anton is one step ahead there.
Taylor utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Anton stops Taylor from standing up.
Anton stands up over Taylor, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Anton tries to stand but Taylor is controlling from the bottom.
Taylor really is a fat lump.

Taylor is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Anton with a lazy takedown attempt

and Taylor counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Anton is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Anton utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Taylor trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Taylor wants to stand but Anton is controlling his posture from full guard.
Taylor is fighting to break Anton's control of his arms but Anton is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Anton wants to sweep here but Taylor controlling him for the moment.
Anton tries to strike from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Anton darts in trying to clinch

and Taylor counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Anton looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Anton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Taylor slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Taylor is breathing heavily.
Anton manages to work his way to half guard, despite Taylor's best efforts.
Taylor seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Taylor missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Anton trying to control from the bottom.
Taylor wants to stand up but Anton has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Anton moves into full guard.
Anton working a defensive guard here.
Taylor won't allow Anton to sweep him here.
Anton trying to keep a closed guard but Taylor is proving a slippery customer.
Anton looking for a sweep. Not yet Anton, not yet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Corey Taylor dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Taylor fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Taylor tries to stand and escape but Anton actually recovers to full guard.

Anton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Taylor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Taylor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anton is looking for a triangle but Taylor pushes his legs off easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Taylor being controlled here momentarily.

Anton is trying to keep Taylor in close.
Taylor stops Anton from standing up.
Taylor wants to control from the top but Anton keeps moving.
Anton is trying to control the position but Taylor postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Anton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Taylor manages to get himself to full guard.
Anton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Anton sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Taylor's guard.
Anton passes into side control, despite Taylor's attempt to control the position.
Anton tries to advance to mount but Taylor denies him.
You can see the frustration on Taylor's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Taylor is trying to buck Anton off.

Anton has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Anton closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anton lands in his opponent's guard.
Taylor is looking to stand up but Anton isn't so interested in that idea.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Anton chips away with some ground and pound.
Anton working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Anton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Anton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Anton trying to control the position from guard on top but Taylor is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anton Anton showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Taylor moves out of range of the body kick from Anton.

Taylor gets a takedown into half guard.
Anton is trying to get back to full guard.
Taylor tries to pass to full mount but Anton defends it.
Anton is looking to escape.

Anton kicks Taylor off and gets back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Anton shoots and misses

and Taylor decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Anton's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Taylor stopping the sweep attempt from Anton.

Anton looking for a triangle here. Taylor is fighting it but it looks tight! Anton pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Taylor is tapping out - this one is all over!
