Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gunj throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gunj scores with a leg kick.
smith misses with a takedown attempt - Gunj sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
smith tries to clinch there but Gunj circles away.
smith fails to land the takedown.
Gunj throws a series of punches but smith avoids them all with ease.

smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gunj was covering up waiting for the punch and smith finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gunj is adopting a defensive guard.
Gunj is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
smith with a flurry of punches that miss.
smith wants to pass the guard but Gunj is keeping the position.

smith tries to stand but Gunj is controlling from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
smith pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
smith changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gunj tries to avoid it but smith manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gunj to the ground. Gunj escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Happy Gunj has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of edward smith.
smith shoots in for a double leg but Gunj sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gunj throws a right and a left that smith avoids nicely.
Gunj throws a series of punches but smith moves out of range.
smith tries to clinch there but Gunj circles away.
Left hook, right uppercut from Gunj.
smith looks gassed!
smith drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Gunj scores with a sloppy right hand. smith should have avoided that one.
Gunj stalks smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into smith's face. smith staggers backwards, shaken.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gunj scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Gunj drops smith with a straight left! Oh this is bad for smith! Gunj dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
