Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Cornell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cornell has chosen Wardance as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Cornell.

Lee shoots in and bounces Cornell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Lee postures up in Cornell's guard and throws a big left but Cornell blocks it.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cornell swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lee shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cornell defends it nicely.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cornell throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lee sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cornell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cornell moves in looking to clinch but Lee pushes him off.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Cornell.

Lee gets the takedown into side control.

Cornell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Lee postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Cornell regains half guard, as Lee was trying to land strikes.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Lee will probably get the nod.

A head kick misses from Cornell.

Lee throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cornell was covering up waiting for the punch and Lee finishes the takedown easily into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cornell is looking to stand up but Lee isn't so interested in that idea.

Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Cornell tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cornell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Lee dives in and grabs Cornell's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cornell pushes down on Lee's head and hops out.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cornell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Lee moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lee, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
