The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson misses with a leg kick.
Simon Saxo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nelson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saxo circles away quickly and effectively.
Saxo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nelson closes the distance and clinches.
Saxo fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Nelson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nelson stuffs the takedown attempt from Saxo. Saxo gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Simon Saxo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nelson pushes Saxo away with a front kick.
Saxo is breathing heavily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nelson closes the distance and clinches.

Nelson breaks the clinch.

Nelson moves into the clinch successfully.

Nelson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nelson lands a big right hand that sends Saxo crashing to the mat! Nelson stays standing though and waves Saxo back to his feet!

It looks like Simon Saxo has been cut.
Nelson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Nelson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Saxo.
Nelson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Saxo doesn't seem bothered though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Nelson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saxo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Nelson fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Saxo square on the jaw! Damn, Saxo is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
