The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ellison backs up against the cage.
Ellison throws a leg kick but Hall sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Hall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ellison avoids it really well and circles away.
Hall throws a series of punches but Ellison avoids them all with ease.
Ellison tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range.
Ellison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hall swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ellison fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hall manages to avoid it.

Hall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ellison.

It looks like Ben Hall has been cut.
Ellison cracks Hall with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hall tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ellison pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hall is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
