Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kett dela Calzada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). dela Calzada has chosen Enter Sandman as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 14 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Miyagi!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kett dela Calzada!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

dela Calzada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Miyagi did well to prevent dela Calzada getting side control.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Miyagi connects with a nice short shot to dela Calzada's temple.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hiro Miyagi.
