Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Meano Beano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brendan Wertman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wertman has chosen Not Afraid as his entrance music. Meano Beano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wertman shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beano sprawls well. Beano wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wertman gets slowly back to his feet.
Beano throws out a powerful jab.
A combination from Beano does no damage.
Wertman takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Beano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wertman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beano is fending him off so far but Wertman persists. Nope, Beano circles away and we're back to standing.

Wertman gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Beano closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Beano tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wertman just stands there and leans against the cage.

Beano gets control of Wertman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Beano will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Beano pushes Wertman off and scrambles back to his feet.
Wertman tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beano swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Wertman sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
