Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damingo Santino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santino keeps the fight on the outside.
Santino tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Slade swivels and escapes.
Slade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Slade moves into the clinch.
Santino is trying to break free.

Slade pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Santino fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Santino throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Slade turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Slade manages to end up in side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Slade counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Santino's guard now.
Lazarus Slade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damingo Santino.

Slade postures up in Santino's guard and throws a big left but Santino blocks it.
