Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hank Langston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Langston's entrance music is Sick Puppies-Youre going down. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hank Langston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rusty Trombone!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trombone throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Langston's waist but Langston gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Trombone off to one side.

It looks like Hank Langston has been cut.
Langston goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Langston does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Trombone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Langston will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

The referee asks Trombone politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Trombone prefers to stall for the moment though.

Langston has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Trombone is working away from the top position though.

Trombone is nestled in close to Langston, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
