Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Gatzby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Cuevas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gatzby comes to the cage accompanied by Gatsby's American Dream - Theatre. Cuevas has chosen Leave Us Alone/ Dead By Gun as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Tony Cuevas enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Gatzby misses the target.
A head kick misses from Gatzby.
Gatzby misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gatzby, right into the meat.
A slow jab from Gatzby misses its intended target.
Gatzby loads up on a big right hand but Cuevas slips the punch.

Cuevas misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gatzby doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cuevas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Cuevas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gatzby has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gatzby is on top in guard.
