Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rodrick Skiter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Augusto Maia!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maia fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Skiter misses with a two punch combination.
Maia throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Skiter scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.


It looks like Augusto Maia has been cut.
Skiter lands with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Skiter throws a right and a left that Maia avoids nicely.
Maia shoots in but Skiter avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Maia scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Maia tries to stand and escape but Skiter is controlling the position.

Maia looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Skiter looks like he's trying to stand up.

Maia trying to control the action but Skiter is working from the bottom.
Maia stalling away here and it's allowed Skiter to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Skiter wants to stand and escape but Maia is having none of it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Maia trying to control but Skiter is working from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Skiter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rodrick Skiter is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Skiter throws a series of punches but Maia avoids them all with ease.
Skiter throws a series of strikes that have Maia backpedaling.
Maia looks gassed!
Skiter cracks Maia with a right hand to the side of the head.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Skiter defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Maia.
Rodrick Skiter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Augusto Maia.

Skiter cracks Maia with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Maia looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Skiter finish him?


Maia is rocked!
Skiter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Skiter throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Maia colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Skiter as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Maia is left battered and dazed whilst Skiter and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rodrick Skiter!
