Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Coca Cola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ken Frazier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Coca Cola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Frazier!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frazier misses with a hook. Cola ducked under it nicely.
Frazier closes the distance and clinches up with Cola, looking for a takedown. Frazier pushes Cola against the cage but Cola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Frazier decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Cola's guard.
Frazier won't allow Cola to get back to his feet.
Frazier is stalling in the full guard.
Frazier prevents Cola from getting back to his feet.
Frazier slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Frazier gets to his feet - Cola follows without any prompting.

so Frazier counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Frazier's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Frazier stops Cola from standing up.

Frazier decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cola, up you get!

Frazier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Cola was covering up waiting for the punch and Frazier finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cola on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Cola tries to get out of the position.
Cola is breathing heavily.
Frazier is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Frazier decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Frazier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Frazier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cola is bucking up trying to escape but Frazier cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cola wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Cola wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Frazier.

Frazier has hold of Cola's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Cola manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Frazier throwing strikes here but Cola is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Frazier tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Frazier stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Frazier tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cola swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Cola fails with the takedown

so Frazier counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coca Cola. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frazier tries to free his leg and advance position but Cola is retaining full guard.
Frazier throws a big right hand that misses.
Frazier stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cola swivels though and keeps the full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Cola wants to stand up but Frazier is controlling him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cola knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frazier on the ground.

Frazier fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Despite being in the dominant position, Ken Frazier just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Frazier stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Frazier thows a body shot but no joy.
Frazier ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Frazier moves into the clinch.
Frazier has had enough of the clinch but Cola keeps him there for the moment.

Frazier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Frazier fails with a takedown attempt.
Cola keeps the fight on the outside.
Frazier wants to clinch up but Cola keeps it at a distance.

Frazier shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Frazier was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Frazier looking to control and managing it successfully.
Let's hope that Frazier has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frazier's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Ken Frazier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Frazier shoots in for a double leg but Cola sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Frazier has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Cola is trying to buck Frazier off.
Cola is letting Frazier control him for a moment.

Frazier tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Frazier has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Frazier remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Cola uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Frazier.

Ken Frazier comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Frazier has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
