Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kirill Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bogdan Swiridow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swiridow shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Swiridow was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Stein is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stein is working hard here to advance position.
Stein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Swiridow on the ground.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stein is defended easily by Swiridow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Swiridow is working to get back to half guard.

Stein looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Stein prevents Swiridow from getting the reversal.

Stein throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Stein is squirming around, avoiding Swiridow's attempts to control the action.
Stein tries to lock up and control but Swiridow gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Stein holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Swiridow tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Stein could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Stein is desperately trying to improve his position but Swiridow has a good base and remains in mount.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Swiridow wants to control the pace but Stein is squirming around nicely.

Stein shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Swiridow manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Swiridow is looking to control Stein's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Swiridow avoid being mounted?

Stein shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Stein showed some decent athleticism there.
