Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between tony pitock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and souske Sagara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
pitock swats away the attempt to clinch by Sagara.
Sagara closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
pitock tries to break the clinch but Sagara is controlling the position.
A right hook to the body lands for Sagara.
pitock on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
pitock has had enough of the clinch but Sagara keeps him there for the moment.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
pitock tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sagara paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sagara has eaten all the pies!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sagara can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
pitock wants to get back to his feet but Sagara is holding on tight.
Sagara's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
