Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hood Shine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and bob sapo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that bob sapo was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sapo shoots in and drives through. Shine sprawls well.

Shine closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Shine is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and sapo defends it well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Shine postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! sapo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shine, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
sapo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shine swivels though and keeps the full guard.

sapo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Shine was covering up waiting for the punch and sapo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Shine shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in sapo's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

sapo misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Shine.

Shine changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. sapo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

sapo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Shine can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Shine stops sapo from standing up.

Shine decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
sapo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and sapo counters with a shoot takedown. Shine fights it but they end up in guard.

sapo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shine has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, sapo has managed to get both his arms back between Shine's legs - danger averted.
