The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jakkar throws a nice head kick!
Jakkar misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Jakkar with that takedown attempt.

Jakkar has closed the distance and engaged Johnson in a clinch.
Jakkar using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Johnson has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Johnson tries to circle away but Jakkar has him pinned against the cage.

Jakkar jumps into guard, dragging Johnson to the mat.
Johnson wants to stand but Jakkar is controlling his posture from full guard.
Johnson is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Jakkar looking to hit a scissor sweep but Johnson is one step ahead there.
Johnson is looking to stand up but Jakkar won't let him.
Johnson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jakkar is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jakkar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jakkar shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Johnson lands with an uppercut that bounces Jakkar off the cage and back into rage.

Johnson cracks Jakkar with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Jakkar looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnson finish him?

Jakkar is rocked!
Johnson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Johnson throws an uppercut from hell that sends Jakkar clean off his feet! He's out cold! Johnson stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
