Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Telamon Aeacuson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aeacuson blocks a head kick by Mantis.
Mantis thumps Aeacuson with a low kick.
Aeacuson fails to land the takedown.
Aeacuson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Mantis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mantis loads up on a big right hand but Aeacuson slips the punch.
Aeacuson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Aeacuson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mantis has his hands on Aeacuson's head, controlling the position.
Aeacuson is looking to work some ground and pound but Mantis has wrist control.

Mantis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Aeacuson is controlling him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Aeacuson closes the distance and clinches up with Mantis, looking for a takedown. Aeacuson pushes Mantis against the cage but Mantis circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mantis is looking to chop away at Aeacuson's legs.
Marvin Mantis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Aeacuson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mantis's waist but Mantis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aeacuson off to one side.
Marvin Mantis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Telamon Aeacuson.
Aeacuson misses with a takedown attempt - Mantis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Aeacuson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mantis swivels and escapes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Left hook, right uppercut from Mantis.
It looks like Telamon Aeacuson has been cut.
Mantis lands a big head kick that sends Aeacuson tumbling to the mat! Mantis takes a step backwards and waves Aeacuson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Aeacuson is rocked!
Mantis steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Aeacuson is out on his feet! Mantis sets himself and nearly takes Aeacuson's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
