Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dzevad Poturak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arthur Eld (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poturak comes to the cage accompanied by Janičar. Dzevad Poturak had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dzevad Poturak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Eld! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eld cracks Poturak with an open hand slap.
It looks like Dzevad Poturak has been cut. Poturak tries to bum rush Eld with a series of wild strikes but Eld uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A looping hook to the body misses from Eld. Poturak does a little dance to reset his feet. Eld lands a body shot.

Poturak bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Eld slaps away a takedown attempt from Poturak, before circling back to the center of the mat. Poturak shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Eld but Eld pushes him off and we're back to square one. Eld throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Poturak to counter with a crisp jab. Eld lands a left and a right that send Poturak crashing to the mat, dazed. Eld thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Eld will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Eld throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Poturak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Poturak is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poturak not doing much here.
Eld is trying to maintain the position but Poturak is very close to passing his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poturak looking for a submission but Eld manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
Poturak wants to control from the top but Eld keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Poturak is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Poturak drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Eld dives on top into guard. Eld got a little sloppy there for a moment and Poturak has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Eld has managed to get both his arms back between Poturak's legs - danger averted. Poturak has his foot on Eld's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eld works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eld wanted to stand there but Poturak had control of the position. Poturak working a defensive guard here.

Poturak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eld gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Poturak looking for a sweep. Not yet Poturak, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Poturak throws his legs up looking for a submission but Eld uses it to pass to side control.
Poturak trying his best to control but Eld has mounted him. Eld controlling the pace for now. Eld wants to control the pace but Poturak is squirming around nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arthur Eld dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dzevad Poturak's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Poturak fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Eld lands with a nice combination. Poturak backs away looking to recover. Nice takedown defense from Eld. No joy for Poturak on that attempt. Poturak has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dzevad Poturak. That's going to take a lot out of him. Poturak misses with a shot to the body and Eld counters with a lovely shot to the body. Poturak just misses with a punch to the body.

and Poturak counters with a single leg into guard. Eld didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eld has Poturak pulled in close to control his posture. Eld keeping moving, preventing Poturak from controlling successfully. Poturak is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Eld is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eld can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eld is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Eld keeping moving, preventing Poturak from controlling successfully. Poturak thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Poturak drops back looking for a leg! Eld is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Eld manages to kick Poturak off! Poturak jumps back into Eld's guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Eld lands with an uppercut that bounces Poturak off the cage and back into rage. Poturak with a lazy takedown attempt letting Eld counter with a right hand. Eld misses with a double jab.

Poturak shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Eld really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Poturak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Poturak has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Poturak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Eld is looking to escape. Poturak is trying to take his opponent's back.
Poturak looking to control but Eld is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Poturak wants to take Eld's back but he can't do it this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arthur Eld showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Dzevad Poturak's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Poturak throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eld was covering up waiting for the punch and Poturak finishes the takedown easily into guard. Poturak trying to control the position from guard on top but Eld is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poturak is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Eld is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Eld has escaped and now he's on top! Poturak looking to hit a scissor sweep but Eld is one step ahead there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eld stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Poturak swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Poturak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Eld wants to control from the top but Poturak keeps moving. Eld postures up.
Arthur Eld is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Eld trying to stand up but can't free himself from Poturak's guard. Poturak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Eld misses the shot to the body. Arthur Eld is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Poturak looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Eld! Poturak has hold of Eld's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Eld manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Poturak is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Eld is surviving well by controlling Poturak's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eld wants to hold on but Poturak pushes him away. Poturak is working for a guillotine from mount but Eld frees his head quite easily.
Poturak tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Eld is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Poturak looking to control but Eld is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dzevad Poturak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Poturak is looking to work his way around to Eld's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Dzevad Poturak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Poturak trying to control but Eld is having none of it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eld really wants to buck Poturak off and get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Dzevad Poturak showed his dominance in that final round. I think Eld has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
