The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Kawasaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Ishikawa which made him look bad.
Kawasaki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ishikawa as he jumps to the side.
Kawasaki shoots in for a double leg but Ishikawa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hero Kawasaki. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ishikawa misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kawasaki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Kawasaki shoots in for a takedown but Ishikawa shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Ishikawa lands with a big right hook that stumbles Kawasaki - he's out on his feet here! Ishikawa follows up with another monster hook that separates Kawasaki from consciousness! Kawasaki falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ishikawa stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
