The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slauka is looking to clinch.
Slauka looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nelson looks to land a combination but Slauka avoids it well.
Nelson leaves Slauka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Slauka shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Nelson sprawls well. Nelson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Slauka gets slowly back to his feet.

Nelson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slauka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nelson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Slauka looks calm but he's in trouble here. Nelson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Slauka is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Nelson lets go of the hold and Slauka can pop his arm back in it's socket.
