The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cabeza de Vaca throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Giant stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Cabeza de Vaca is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Giant takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Giant changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cabeza de Vaca tries to avoid it but Giant manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cabeza de Vaca to the ground. Cabeza de Vaca escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Giant looks gassed!
Cabeza de Vaca misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cabeza de Vaca lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Andre Giant has been cut.

Cabeza de Vaca lands a left and a right that send Giant crashing to the mat, dazed. Cabeza de Vaca thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
No joy there for Cabeza de Vaca, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Giant blocks a head kick by Cabeza de Vaca.
Cabeza de Vaca throws a series of punches but Giant moves out of range.
Giant leaves his chin hanging out and Cabeza de Vaca seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Giant crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
