Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oren Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dmitry Nugzarov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nugzarov throws a looping overhand right but Hunter ducks down to avoid it.
Nugzarov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nugzarov misses with a wild combination.
Hunter misses with a head kick.
Hunter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nugzarov thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nugzarov ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A bone on bone clash there as Nugzarov blocks the leg kick.

Nugzarov is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hunter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nugzarov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Hunter is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nugzarov is just riding it out for now. Hunter eventually gives up the hold.
Nugzarov wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Hunter wants to free his trapped foot but Nugzarov is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hunter drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nugzarov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hunter has Nugzarov in his guard.
Nugzarov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Nugzarov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hunter buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Nugzarov sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Good leg kick by Hunter there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hunter closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nugzarov did well to prevent Hunter getting side control.

Oh Hunter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nugzarov lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Hunter can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Nugzarov and Hunter drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Nugzarov.
