Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Velvet Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cameron Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Big Pimpin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray with a nice cross.
Murray throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Murray paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Jones is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Murray works over Jones's head and body with a nice combination.
Jones is rocked!
Murray closes the distance and clinches.
Murray pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Murray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Murray throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Murray paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Murray makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Jones shoots in for a takedown but Murray shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Murray is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Murray circles away and we're back to standing.
Murray throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jones tries to clinch there but Murray circles away.
Jones just misses with a punch to the body.
Jones walks into a jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones walks into a straight right hand from Murray.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Murray changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Murray connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jones closes the distance but Murray moves to the side
and Murray counters with a lovely shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Murray throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Murray works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Velvet Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones is breathing heavily.

Murray throws a shot to the body.

Murray connects with a superb combination that knocks Jones out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Murray before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Jones!
