Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tappin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Beast as he avoids it easily.

Tappin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beast looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Tappin swings around for an armbar but Beast sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tappin's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tappin wants to improve his position but instead Beast has moved into half guard.

Beast drops back looking for a leg! Tappin is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tappin manages to kick Beast off! Beast jumps back into Tappin's guard.

Tappin looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Beast has picked Tappin up and slammed him! Tappin can't keep hold of the triangle and Beast manages to pass to side control!

Beast thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Tappin is looking for a sweep.

Beast has hold of Tappin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tappin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Beast stuffs the takedown attempt from Tappin. Tappin gets slowly back to his feet.
Tappin shoots in but Beast avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Tappin has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Beast. Oh but Tappin has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Beast goes limp - he's gone! Tappin jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
