Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gianmarco Zaniboni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Sparrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sparrow comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voices kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaniboni throws a hook to the side of Sparrow's head but Sparrow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sparrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Zaniboni gets caught flat footed, as Sparrow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Sparrow avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sparrow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zaniboni wants to sweep here but Sparrow controlling him for the moment.
Sparrow working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Zaniboni is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Sparrow is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Zaniboni is looking to take a break and control but Sparrow is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
