Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Armando Chimal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chimal comes to the cage accompanied by BATTLE FIELD by Tohru Nakabayashi for the Superclassic game GOLDEN AXE!!!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Armando Chimal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Rand!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chimal misses with a body kick.
Chimal goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Chimal.
Chimal looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Chimal shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Chimal shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rand defends it nicely.
Chimal fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Rand throws a shot to the body.
Chimal throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rand catches Chimal with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Chimal closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rand circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Armando Chimal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chimal ducks under a wild hook from Rand.
A punch combination from Chimal misses.
Chimal lands a jab to Rand's midsection.
Chimal fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Rand finds it's way through Chimal's defenses.
Chimal shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
No luck for Chimal with that takedown attempt.
Chimal swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Chimal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rand's waist but Rand gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chimal off to one side.
Rand avoids the head kick by Chimal.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Chimal.
Chimal has a takedown stuffed.
Chimal will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Rand swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chimal.

It looks like Armando Chimal has been cut.
Rand lands a two punch combo.
Chimal is breathing heavily.
Rand connects with a body shot.
Chimal takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chimal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Chimal is rocked!
Rand lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Chimal is looking to close the distance but Rand sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Chimal crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Chimal is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
