The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tammipuomi scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Tammipuomi throws a body punch but Hartola moves out of range.
Hartola throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tammipuomi sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tammipuomi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hartola.
Hartola loads up on a big right hand but Tammipuomi slips the punch.
A swing and a miss from Hartola.
Hartola throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tammipuomi. Hartola does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hartola throws a head kick but Tammipuomi moves out of range.
Tammipuomi connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Tammipuomi misses with a two punch combination.

Tammipuomi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hartola moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tammipuomi lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hartola fakes the leg kick and cracks Tammipuomi in the body.
Tammipuomi takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Tommi Hartola is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tammipuomi is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hartola throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Hartola misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tammipuomi.
Hartola misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tammipuomi throws a right and a left that both miss.

Hartola swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tammipuomi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A head kick by Tammipuomi misses
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hartola uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Tammipuomi has time to react.

It looks like Marco Tammipuomi has been cut.

Hartola ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

A lazy body kick from Tammipuomi
and Hartola connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tammipuomi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hartola finds it's way round the side to connect with Tammipuomi's head.

Marco Tammipuomi's cut is getting worse.
Hartola digs a good body shot into Tammipuomi's ribs.
Tommi Hartola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hartola cracks Tammipuomi with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hartola has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Tammipuomi to stand back up!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hartola lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Tammipuomi crumples to the floor! Hartola milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
